Surjeet was such a great instructor! I passed my road test on the first try with less than 10 hours of driving lessons! He was so patient and helpful! He took into consideration my limited time and planned accordingly, explaining different rules and maneuvers so well that I didn’t need any more time! After having an instructor from another driving school and failing my class 5 full license exam twice, which greatly affected my confidence, my husband (who passed his Class 5 full license exam after just 2 lessons with Surjeet) recommended Surjeet at Task Driving Academy.
I must say, Surjeet is an outstanding instructor!! He is incredibly professional, detail-oriented, calm, patient, and polite even when I made repeated mistakes. Surjeet always took the time to explain every concept repeatedly and clearly, which really helped build my confidence. Additionally, he is very observant and could tell when I was nervous.
With just two lessons with Surjeet, I passed my Class 5 full license exam!!.
I also found the feedback and materials shared with me on observation skills, parallel parking, and backing into stalls to be extremely helpful.

I was able to pass my Class 7 (N) Road Test on the first attempt without any prior driving experience thanks to my amazing instructor Surjeet. Surjeet is patient, supportive, and very knowledgeable with the ICBC requirements. I took 22 hours lessons in total, 2 hours each week. After completing driving lessons with Surjeet... I passed my class 7 road test at my first attempt! Surjeet has all the qualities you could want from a driving instructor: he is patient, clear, kind, knows plethora of tips and tricks, and is able to instil confidence in student drivers by pointing out both successes and mistakes in a friendly manner. Asking "How was that shoulder check?" with a smile rather than scolding me for missing it. Thanks again to Surjeet for the excellent teaching skills, friendliness, and fun stories!

All the lessons felt very productive, targeting new concepts each time, while reviewing all the techniques we had already learnt that I wasn't immediately great at or didn't feel confident enough to do yet. Besides the lessons, I also appreciated the excellent service from TASK Driving. I have a busy work schedule, and they worked around it without making me feel like it was a hassle. They are very responsive, and the post-lesson email notes and text notifications are super efficient and useful.

I had taken a handful of classes from another Vancouver driving school I shall not name before, and the difference is incontestable: TASK Driving definitely deserves its 5-star review and more! 10/10, would recommend!
